We're HIRING NOW for a Social Media Specialist! This role is based at our beautiful Corporate offices in downtown Medford, OR.

Social Media Specialist

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for two distinct facets on the Online Reputation and Brand team. The first is to facilitate access to social profiles and review sites for vendors, store personnel, and corporate entities; this includes, but is not limited to troubleshooting access issues, reclaiming profiles, assisting in acquisition and divestiture processes, as well as facilitating corporate requests. Additionally, the Social Media Specialist is responsible for building, managing, and maintaining the social media presence of corporate brands such as Driveway and GreenCars; this includes content creation, graphics requests and creation, boosting, and consumer engagement. Focus on forums, tweets, images, and writing effective organic posts, or publishing positive reviews, as well as retweeting, sharing, and engaging with the social community.

The Social Media Specialist reports to the Manager, Online Reputation and Brand. (We are open to remote candidates based on the west coast.)

Responsibilities

* Facilitate SMRM platform access changes, additions, cancellations for all Lithia Motors teams and vendors
* Coordinate and document SMRM platform access, links, and additional data as assigned
* Communicate with vendors, platforms, and agencies as necessary
* Increase the brand following for corporate entities Driveway/GreenCars
* Create and schedule out a content calendar for Driveway/GreenCars across relevant social platforms
* Own the social and reputation identity for Driveway/GreenCars
* Collaborate across departments and teams
* Answer all reviews and messages in a timely manner across review sites and social platforms
* Ensure posts are executed on time and monitor them for engagement opportunities
* Compile and send out monthly reporting per client
* Identify social media trends, trending topics, and relevant opportunities for visibility
* Train on and utilize internal tools for publication of review responses and social posts
* Train on and utilize WorkFront to facilitate social publishing requests on behalf of LADTech and Marketing Manager team
* Execute social advertising requests as needed, coordinating with Marketing Manager, store, and internal teams

* 1-2 years experience in social media, automotive-specific preferred but not required
* Bachelors Degree required. Major in marketing or communications preferred but not required
* Aptitude & affinity for social media is necessary
* Business acumen to understand clients business and objectives in order to identify social expansion opportunities
* Demonstrated ability to understand and synthesize complex concepts into simple, powerful and engaging positioning and messaging
* Ability to write and think creatively
