General Registration: Arranges for the efficient and orderly admission of inpatients, emergency room, and admission of individuals who have hospital based outpatient testing or procedures. Ensures that the patient information is collected and that patients are aware of hospital policies and procedures. Interviews incoming patient or representatives and accurately enters information required for admission into computer database. Distributes appropriate information to ancillary departments. Attempts to collect all co-pays and deductibles for applicable customers in a professional manor at time of registration.

Laboratory/Respiratory Registration: Arranges for the efficient and orderly admission of individuals who have hospital based outpatient testing or procedures. Ensures that the patient information is collected and that patients are aware of hospital policies and procedures. Interviews incoming patient or representatives and accurately enters information required for admission into computer database. Accurately enters all Lab orders in the Meditech system. Distributes appropriate information to ancillary departments. Attempts to collect all co-pays and deductibles for applicable customers in a professional manor at time of registration.

Radiology Registration: Arranges for the efficient and orderly admission of individuals who have hospital based outpatient testing or procedures. Ensures that the patient information is collected and that patients are aware of hospital policies and procedures. Interviews incoming patient or representatives and accurately enters information required for admission into computer database. Accurately enters all Radiology orders in the Meditech system. Distributes appropriate information to ancillary departments. Attempts to collect all co-pays and deductibles for applicable customers in a professional manor at time of registration. Answers and processing incoming calls appropriately. Processes film/CD release per department/facility policy.

Job Requirements

egulatory Requirements:

1. High School Diploma

2. Completed medical terminology coursepreferred.

Language Skills:

1. Ability to effectively communicate inEnglish, both verbally and in writing.

2. Excellent interpersonal skills.

Skills:

1. Basic computer knowledge.

2. Excellent customer service skills.
