Raleigh General Hospital
The Hospital Support Aide/Screener will provide additional support to the hospital by assisting with non-clinical duties as assigned on skill level and needs of the hospital. Performs other duties as assigned.
Conducts all interactions in a professional manner that aligns with our Code of Conduct, Standards of Behavior and Language of Caring.
Follows and understands the Screening Process for each location.
Asks all screening questions of Employees, Patients, Visitors and Vendors.
Follows and understands how to proceed with the answers to the screening questions.
Completes all applicable logs.
Ensures that the screening station is neat, clean and has ample supplies.
Demonstrates the ability to be flexible and organized.
Understands who to contact with questions/concerns.
Responds to and resolves all inquiries in an expedient manner.
Communicates appropriately and clearly to the Director of Maintenance.
Maintains a good working relationship both within the department and with other departments.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Reports to: Director of Maintenance
FLSA: Non-exempt
Job Requirements
Minimum Education High school diploma or equivalent - required
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
