Position: Senior Financial Analyst
Department: Financial Planning and Analysis - BBW Finance
Reports To: Manager, FP&A
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for management and reporting of Home Office expense budgets and projections. Understands the inter-relationship between different P&L lines to ensure the accuracy of the overall projection and helps identify risks and opportunities. Reports to the Manager of FP&A.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Partner with all areas of finance to ensure appropriate sharing of financial information and consistency in flexing expense projections based on changes in sales and / or other inputs
* Partner with Financial Reporting to support the accurate booking of month and quarter end accounting entries
* Collaborate with partners external to Finance, such as HR and Technology for example, to ensure proper inputs to financial projections and the necessary level of detail to explain fluctuations
* Prepare weekly and monthly reporting summarizing results for management
* Interface with CFO and other senior management
* Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with various levels of management
* Refine existing financial models and develop new models to better predict future results
* Support budgeting and long-range planning process
* Perform special projects and analysis as directed
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or mathematics preferred
* Advanced degree, CPA or MBA preferred
* Four plus years of financial experience
* Experience in retail or apparel manufacturing environment a plus
* Ability to model complex business questions/issues
* Ability to think analytically and creatively
* Demonstrated initiative and drive to achieve results
* Strong oral and written presentation skills
* Advanced PC skills including Excel, Access and PowerPoint
