Description:
Participate in development of the manufacturing execution system across the site ensure established process flows are in place and appropriate data collection is being implemented. Will be required to develop a high level of understanding with FactoryLogixs manufacturing execution system. You will report directly to the Sr. Manager of Manufacturing Engineering and will also be responsible for training and support of that team and the facility in the use and operation of the MES system.
Essential Functions:
* Create and execute process flows in the manufacturing execution system
* Train the manufacturing engineering team on the execution of the manufacturing execution system
* Provide data output for statistical process control, Yield and WIP staging.
* Support continues improvement effort through data and system support.
Qualifications:
* B.S. in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or any other Technical related field
* Strong computer skills
* Experience with the implementation and use of a Manufacturing Execution System
* FactoryLogix Preferred but not required
* Strong troubleshooting, creative problem solving, and critical thinking/reasoning skills
* 3+ years Manufacturing and operations experience in a traditional operations function
* Project leadership and management experience
* Clear communicator (listening, speaking, writing)
* Ability to prioritize, multi-task, work with little supervision, and adapt to sudden changes in plans
* Familiar with lean manufacturing principles desired
