Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Test Instrumentation Engineer. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.

What you'll get to do:
Responsibilities will include working with design counter-parts during the design and build of the System Test instrumentation system. Ensure design meets functional and performance requirements and supplemental integration efforts.

Role may require coordination across multiple teams and occasional travel.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree in STEM discipline with 9 Years of experience, 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD.
- In-scope ( lt;5 years) DOD Secret Clearance as well as the ability to obtain and maintain Program Special access

- Demonstrated experience with test instrumentation, collection systems and design for test

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with instrumentation systems. Data collection methods, and post-processing tools

- Generating reports in coordination with SW, HW and Test Team members

- TS Clearance with completed investigation within the last 6 years

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time
