The Branch Administrator position is responsible for daily reconciliation of trucks, organization of cylinders in the yard and the warehouse on a day-to-day work plan. Performs daily inventory adjustments of fast moving inventory of cylinders and hardgoods. Under the direction of the Branch Manager will perform other projects within the branch as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Conducts daily truck reconciliations of all vehicles leaving and returning to the facility
* Perform daily counts of fast moving inventory of cylinders and hardgoods
* Perform quarterly cylinder audits of the entire facility
* Maintains proper cylinder organization of yard and warehouse
* Performs daily SAP Inventory adjustments of cylinder and hard good counts
* Additional branch projects will be assigned to better the current branch systems of storage, cleanliness, organization of specific areas of the branch facility and any other projects as assigned by the Branch Manager
* Collaborates on the day-to-day activities of shipping, receiving, and inventory control
* Achieve and maintain a clean database of inventory numbers
* Perform daily inventory maintenance tasks such as inventory adjustments, part number set ups, and part number changes. Pricing of all hardgood inventory items
* Performs other duties as assigned and follows company policies and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
* Should be proficient in SAP or capable to learn its use with reasonable training and support
* Must be proficient in typical word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software such as Google Docs, Google Sheets, & Google Slides
* Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
* High school diploma, or equivalent.
* One year certificate from college or technical school is a plus, three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Customer service or sales experience.
* Computer experience or basic knowledge in computer order entry systems.
* Industry and related product knowledge as well as experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
* Good organizational and analytical skills as well as an ability to communicate effectively with peers and supervisors.
* Ability to read, speak, write, spell and understand the English language.
* Ability to routinely lift 25 75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 100 lbs.
* Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
* Must be able to work occasional overtime, if necessary.
* Must be able to work outdoors throughout the year.
* Must be able to operate in a drug-free, tobacco-free workplace.
