Northrop Grumman is seeking a General Manufacturing Manager for its Advanced Interconnects and Multilayer Solutions (AIMS) facility in Linthicum, MD. AIMS is a state-of-the-art Printed Wiring Board (PWB) fabrication facility specializing in the development and delivery of multilayer, organic RF (radio frequency) structures such as manifolds and circulators.

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Defining, deploying and managing all required human resources
- Establishing and controlling budgets
- Developing and managing product delivery schedules
- Establishing yield and productivity improvement strategies
- Chairing the AIMS Corrective Action Board (CAB)
- Serving as operations liaison to executive leadership
- Preparing and delivering product pricing requests and risk assessments

MANUMSQualification

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical field with a minimum of 9 years relevant experience or Masters degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical field with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- 5 or more years with manufacturing experience in a union environment.
- Demonstrated basic understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools such as SAP and Materials Requirement Planning (MRP).
- Hands on experience developing and managing budgets with responsibility for cost performance.
- Experience working across multiple disciplines (design, manufacturing and test engineering) with a focus on product development and producibility.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance; US citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Fluent in MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Knowledge of manufacturing process and procedure for production of high reliability PWBs.

- Hands on familiarity with PWB fabrication processes, equipment and IPC (Association Connecting Electronics Industries) requirements for high reliability PWBs in the aerospace market.

- Experience with PTFE (Teflon) substrate materials, the suppliers of these materials and their processing.

- Demonstrated success leading high performance, multi-disciplined teams.

- US Secret level security clearance or higher.
