SSSD has an opening for a Material Process Technician 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Manhattan Beach, California
Essential Functions:
Electrical M amp;P Labs needs a DPA Technician who will be responsible for performing Destructive Physical Analysis (DPA) Lab test procedures on a variety of electrical components. Candidate should have ability to follow test plans and be able to perform hands-on tasks and inspections on electronic components with basic understanding of Mil-Std-883, Mil-Std-750, and Mil-Std-1580. Candidate should have some experience Destructive Physical Analysis Lab equipment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) skills are required.
Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
* High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience
* Ability to follow test plans
* Experience with Destructive Physical Analysis Lab equipment (such as microscopes, bond-pull, die-Shear, SEM/EDX, cross-sectioning, etc.)
* Microsoft Office(Word,Excel) Basic Skills
Preferred Qualifications :
* Associates in Arts or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline plus 1 year of related experience
* Experience working at a DPA Lab or electronics failure analysis lab environment.
* Experience with Mil-Std-883, Mil-Std-750, Mil-Std-1580
* Excellent verbal amp; written communications skills
