Strategic Space Systems Division (SSSD) is anindustry-leading provider for launch systems capabilities serving nationalsecurity, military, civil and commercial customers. SSSD has an opening for a Technical Operations Lead to joinour team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located inRedondo Beach, CA.

This Technical Operations Lead will focus on supporting thedirector in executing day-to-day operations as well as long-term strategicplanning and initiatives.

Duties include:

- Lead and manage monthly execution reviews for IRAD andCRAD

- Coordinate cross-division collaboration and collaborationwithin the space program portfolio

- Primary interface to the Sector Technology Council (STC)and STC lead for Strategic Space Systems Division (SSSD)

- Support staffing and team onboarding

- Organize and lead staff meetings

- Manage the overall team calendar

'Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology,Engineering or Math) discipline with 9+ years of engineering experience OR

- Master's degree in a STEM (Science, technology,Engineering or Math) discipline with 7+ years of engineering experience

- PhD in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)discipline with 4+ years of experience in engineering experience

Candidate must have, and be able to maintain, at least ONEof the following active U.S. Government security clearances:

- Dept. of Defense Top Secret level with a backgroundinvestigation date within 6 years OR

- SCI access with a Single Scope Background Investigation(SSBI) completed within 5 years OR

- Dept. of Energy Q clearance with a Single Scope BackgroundInvestigation (SSBI) completed within 5 years OR

- Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completedwithin 5 years

Preferred Qualifications:

- Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonalskills

- Ability to work within an abstract and dynamic environment

- Team-player with willingness to jump in to help the teamthrough critical milestones

- Open and transparent collaborator

- Ability to think outside the box and drive evolution

- Experience with new business development, captures,proposals

- Technical knowledge/expertise in RF, digital,communication, and/or spacecraft systems as well as systems engineering.
