Northrop Grumman rsquo;s Aeronautics Systems sector has an opening for an Industrial Engineering Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals! This position will be located in St. Augustine, Florida.
Essential Functions include but not limited to:
* Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
* Establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations.
* Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.
* On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods.
* Assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels. This leader must collaborate closely with executive leadership, program managers, contracts, operations, business management, quality and engineering.

Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
* Must have a Bachelor rsquo;s degree AND 9 years of experience record that includes experience in fabrication and assembly environments (capacity analysis, work measurement, crew cycling, touch labor staffing, production master scheduling and shop floor control practices and processes)
* Must be able to work with different teams from multiple locations
* Must have strong ability to effectively communicate with both oral and written formats
* Must have an Active, In-Scope, DOD Secret Security Clearance (or higher)
* Must have the ability to attain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR)
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master rsquo;s Degree
* Experience in technical teams in aerospace environments
* Familiarity with DoD programs and processes
* Business acumen and project management skills a plus
