The primary or major purpose of this part-time position is responsibility for invoicing, billing, collection, and financial functions of the IROC Houston QA Program and the Phantom Laboratory Services or MPL. Also to monitor and track the billing and payment status of the IROC Houston QA Center invoices and MPL invoices.

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

Management of Phantom Laboratory or MPL Services
Sets up invoicing, billing and collection modules for new MPL customers and verifies existing customer payment status in the Working Point financial system. Customers are continually changing requiring constant monitoring of their invoicing and payment status.
Processes all new MPL phantom orders and audit service orders received in a timely manner to expedite the for fee service.
Periodically updates all quote information to reconcile with actual services provided.
Continually monitors MPL audit services and phantom shipments to know the status of the completion of an audit.
Updates write-off and payment collections file when work is completed.
Updates all financial and billing information in Working Point System on bimonthly basis.
Performs a reconciliation of the MPL accounts to provide a monthly financial report to the MPL directors.

Tracking and Monitoring of IROC Houston QA Center Invoices
Maintains an existing system - automatic annual fee - to electronically track the billing and payment status of all IROC Houston invoices on an annual basis. Quarterly monitoring is required.
Makes requests to void or cancel invoices of institutions that close or become inactive.
Reconciles duplication of GRN invoice numbers and customer ID numbers for a fixed number of pre-established invoices.
Resolves any and all issues surrounding the annual invoice payments.
Makes requests for new GRN numbers for institutions that start participating in our QA program after the initial fiscal year invoices are sent out.
Sends out annual IROC invoices and reminder notifications on a quarterly basis.
Updates institutional billing information.

Education
Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience
Required: Nine years business/management experience to include two years in a health care environment or related field. May substitute education for relevant experience on a one to one basis.

Preferred:Previous experience working in radiation oncology strongly preferred.
