Overview
This position provides support to Treasury Department leaders and assist in the furtherance of the overall operations of the Treasury Department with a primary focus on deposit operations and cash controls across the IU Health system. Will perform activities relating to Cash Management Operations, Merchant Processing, and Investment and Debt Programs as directed by the Program Manager or other Treasury leaders. Perform audits, data analysis, reporting and conduct in-person and remote monitoring of cash control processes, guidelines and procedures, and deposit operations in order to assist the Program Manager in managing, updating, and implementation of cash controls across the IU Health system that are appropriately designed to ensure corporate assets are safeguarded. May develop recommendations and training for controls and other projects related to a variety of treasury activities, including, but not limited to, deposit operations, cash management, merchant processing, banking relationships, investment activity, and debt. This position may consult and support other areas of the company and their initiatives as it relates to their deposit operation needs. This position will assist in, coordinate, or lead special projects as necessary. Participates as part of a collaborative and cross-functional team, including treasury, the broader finance area, accounting, internal audit, system patient access, and revenue cycle services. This position will require the ability to build effective relationships, strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, time management, strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office application, and possessing auditing and reporting skills is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.Requires 2+ years of relevant financial and operational analysis experience.
Requires analytical experience working with complex data sets.
Requires proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products/applications; strong Microsoft Excel experience required; relational database and financial or operational modeling experience a plus.
