Currently we have an opening for Electrician Technician position in our Bedford Park Box Facility. This facility manufactures corrugated packaging products. Starting wage $36.85. The hiring process for successful candidate will include a pre-employment test, interview, background check and a health/drug screen.

We are looking for motivated individuals who are capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible, fast-paced production environment. Our workplace requires individuals who understand the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality and productivity.

Specific responsibilities include maintaining production equipment to optimize run ability through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of machines. Candidates for consideration should have troubleshooting skills in industrial, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical failures and the aptitude to correct those failures. Accurately completing administrative documents and following directions are important work traits. Candidates must demonstrate technical experience, reliability and the ability to work independently.

Candidates must be willing to work alternative shifts, weekends and overtime as required.

Minimum qualifications for consideration are a high school degree (or G.E.D.) and a minimum of three to five years experience in an industrial environment. Candidates must have strong troubleshooting skills; both electrical and mechanical. Good knowledge of the National Electrical code, proficiency and experience with high voltage equipment is a must. Candidates must have extensive knowledge and experience with, but not limited to: ammeters, multimeter, field programming equipment, oscilloscopes, and ladder and PLC schematics. Highly qualified candidates will have a thorough knowledge of PLC troubleshooting, relay logic troubleshooting, motor controls, and drive systems. Good knowledge of industrial equipment along with the repair of equipment with minimal documentation and the ability to read electrical/mechanical prints.

The hiring process for successful candidates will include a pre-employment aptitude test and team interview.
