If so, we have the perfect job for you. We are the Microsoft Technology Center, Windows Power Management team. We work on improved Power management features from Intel SoCs into the Windows OS, to enable our OEM/ODM partners worldwide. We are looking for a Software engineer on our team to help intel Architecture systems provide the best battery life experience on Client PCs and delight our customers. Is that you?

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Bachelors in computer science or Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or computer science with 6+ years or Masters with 3+ years work experience in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or a related discipline.

3+ years of experience with the following technical skills:

* Good understanding of Computer Architecture with emphasis on Intel Architecture
* Experience with Windows Ring 0 programming and Debug (KD, WinDBG)
* Proficiency in C

Preferred Qualifications:

* 3+ years of experience with Windows driver and IA hardware knowledge.
* Experience in Power management
