Job Description

Come intern with Intel's Xeon & Networking Engineering (XNE) group, part of Design Engineering Group (DEG), as a SoC Design Engineer in our Design Methodology and Enablement team. In this team, you will be exposed to SoC Design and Implementation tools, flows and methods and learn how high performance, complex SoCs are designed in leading technology nodes.

Responsibilities may be quite diverse in technical nature and will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the role, U.S. experience and education requirements.

The responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

* Support design and implementation of IP for network processors and SoCs
* Assist in Design Automation and methodology development for SoC Design

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Requirements:
Must be pursuing a Masters or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other science/engineering related field.
Minimum of 3 months experience in the following areas:

* Logic and circuit design or verification
* Development and troubleshooting with scripting languages like TCL or Perl

Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Verilog or VHDL.
Familiarity with EDA tools for logic synthesis, simulation or BE implementation.
