The transaction will enhance the resources and potential of the business' storage solutions, including client and enterprise SSDs, in the rapidly growing NAND Flash space amid the era of big data.
This is an exciting time to be at Intel - come join our Data Center NAND Division as a Product Development Engineer and work on one of the most advanced 3DNAND and SSD technology portfolios in the world. As the global leader in the semiconductor industry, Intel possesses many industry-leading SSD technologies including the most capable Quadruple Level Cell (QLC) NAND Flash products. As a Product Development Engineer, you will be part of a world-class team that will transition to lead the SSD business at SK hynix.

This position aligns to Phase 1 of the transaction, which includes the 3DNAND enterprise and client SSD business. Phase 1 is expected to close in late 2021, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions. At deal close, all employees aligned to this phase of the transaction will transition to SK hynix.

Responsibilities include:

* Ensuring the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from the component feasibility stage through production ramp.
* Making significant contributions to design, development and validation of testability circuits.
* Evaluation, development and debug of complex test methods.
* Development and debug of complex software programs to convert design validation vectors and drive complex test equipment.
* Creating and testing validation and production test hardware solutions.
* Testing, validating, modifying and redesigning circuits to guarantee component margin to specification.
* Analyze and evaluate component specification versus performance to ensure optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability with specific emphasis on yield analysis and bin split capability.
* Analyze early customer returns with emphasis on driving test hole closure activities.
* Create and apply concepts for optimizing component production relative to both quality and cost constraints.
* Autonomously plan and schedules own daily tasks, develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

* The candidate must have at least 5 years experience working in test/product development or related field.
* Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with NVM product development, design validation, and qualification.
* Demonstrate good level of understanding of Memory testers and test code environment, specifically C, C++ and Python.
* Experience in circuits, statistics and fabrication process.
* Good level of understanding of the entire Semiconductor manufacturing flow Fab, Wafer Sort, Assembly, Test.
