In this position you will be collaborating with a team of energetic Software Application Engineers with a wide range of strengths and interests (High Performance Computing, Heterogeneous Computing, Technical computing, AI, to name a few). You will be responsible for reviewing, improving, automating, and creating training content used by oneAPI software developers, while learning and applying multiple parallel computing and heterogeneous computing technologies.
We seek an intern currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related areas.

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be considered for this position.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor for our consideration. We welcome anyone who has acquired this experience through a combination of school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or any prior internship experiences.

The ideal candidate must have:

- Good communication skills (spoken and written)
- Good problem analysis and problem solving skills
- Self driven and motivated to learn

This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a bachelors degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering

6+ months experience in:

- Programming experience in C and/or C++ Programming Language

- Coursework completed in HPC, GPGPU programming with hands-on practice

- Basic understanding of computer architecture

- Experience working in a Linux environment

Preferred Experience/Skills (nice to have):

3+ months Experience in:

- Experience in OpenCL
- Experience in OpenMP
- Experience in CUDA
