The Opportunity

QVC, Inc., a world-class global shopping community and the worlds leading video & eCommerce retailer is seeking a dynamic and passionate Consumer Insights intern to support our Primary Research and Voice of the Customer team. This is a unique opportunity to learn and develop Customer Research skills at a global retail, ecommerce, and television company. We are looking for an intern with a passion for the digital space to intern from June 1st to August 13th.

You must be either a rising junior, rising senior, or graduate student at the time of the internship. We do not accept recent graduates into the internship program.

Your Impact

* Assist with VOC, primary and market research requests. Analyze qualitative and quantitative data for QVC and HSN customer and consumer research. Create dashboards and reports with visual tools to assist with storytelling. Tableau or Qualtrics experience preferred
* Support the creation and maintenance of ad-hoc and ongoing reports using Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau
* Support data visualization efforts, including the creation of new reporting dashboards
* Leverage secondary research resources such as Civic Science to provide insights related to consumer demographics, preferences, and behaviors

What You Bring

* Must be able to work 37.5 hours/week
* Currently enrolled in a college degree program, master degree candidate is a plus
* Interested in market/consumer research
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to multi-task
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Confident, energetic, self-motivated individual
* Proficient with Microsoft Office software
* Coursework or experience in qualitative or quantitative research is a plus
* Experience using SQL and Microsoft Excel is a plus
