Introduction
The IBM Digital Workplace Engineering organization is looking for an experienced Product Engineering Manager to guide the technical direction of the squad, ensure delivery of high-quality software, and transform IBMs digital workplace.
As a member of the Digital Workplace Engineering team, you will work with an end-to-end team to design, build, and deliver products that redefine the experience of being an IBMer. Our organization is characterized by small teams, working cohesively, in a startup-like environment inside of the worlds largest IT organization. We are changing the way work gets done and need to develop the software to support and scale that transformation. Currently, we are headquartered in our NYC WeWork office and are very passionate about creating a fun, focused, and a flexible workspace.
Your Role and Responsibilities
We are a custom software development team that works on web and mobile applications that enhance the productivity of IBMers worldwide. Our applications solve problems at scale, leveraging natural language processing and machine learning technologies. As an engineering manager, you will be responsible for building an engaged and highly skilled team that continuously delivers value to its users

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* 5+ years of Software Development experience (Java, JavaScript, Node.js, Typescript, Python)
* 3+ years of engineering management or leadership experience
* 1+ years of applied statistics, machine learning, or data science
* Experience with SRE or Platform operations
* Ability to work with multiple teams to ensure the delivery of successful projects
* BS in Computer Science
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
* Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent related technical discipline
* 5 plus years experience in cloud application development
