FCS Governance, Risk, and Compliance Lead

Job Description

Facebook is seeking an experienced Governance, Risk and Controls (GRC) Lead to support the build out of a governance, risk and compliance program for FCS (Facilities, Culinary and Security). The ideal candidate will be process driven, an excellent communicator and understand how to develop risk management approaches that scale. Building influence in cross-functional partnerships and developing great stakeholder relationships across the entire organization is also an essential part of this role. They will also have hands-on experience facilitating an effective and efficient controls program by identifying and addressing risks in business processes, evaluating the design of controls, and assessing control effectiveness.

FCS Governance, Risk, and Compliance Lead Responsibilities

* Support the FCS Head of GRC by executing the development and implementation of a comprehensive risk management program to ensure all FCS risks are identified, assessed and monitored on a regular basis

* Support a globally consistent approach across the FCS organization in performing continuous monitoring of legal, compliance, operating and financial controls. Internally assess, evaluate and make recommendations to management regarding the adequacy of the controls across FCS

* Develop short- and long-term tactical responses to audit observations to either remediate or mitigate the risk exposure presented by either the control failure/deficiency or an identified gap in controls

* Establish FCS GRC policies, standards, and templates for conducting audits to enable the tracking, measurement, reporting and evaluation of the design and effectiveness of controls across our portfolio

* Contribute to the development of governance models, programs, and procedures and support the implementation of controls to ensure compliance with new FB policies/standards and regulatory requirements

* Partner closely with the Global Security compliance team to ensure a consistent process across the organization, with a focus primarily on facility (transactions, projects, design, operations, transportation, etc.) and culinary matters

* Collaborate with Business Process Owners and Project Managers to review new risks and controls requirements arising from new business lines, technology implementations and transformation efforts

* Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive FCS GRC tool

* Support the strategy and roadmap to build and enhance a suite of automated testing and analytics tools

* Collaborate with internal business partners and stakeholders (e.g., business process owners, Internal Audit, Compliance, Privacy, cross functional GRC teams, etc.) to continually evaluate and improve control practices

* Develop talent and build training programs to grow team members and foster a strong controls culture

Minimum Qualifications

* 8+ years audit/compliance experience

* BA/BS in accounting, finance or business administration

* Experience interpreting and implementing policies, processes and controls

* Experience managing third party risks

* Experience managing contingent workforce risks

* Experience with leveraging data analytics to monitor risk exposure

* Experience building working relationships across the organization and with outside vendors

Preferred Qualifications

* CPA, CIA, CFE, or CISA certification

* Experience in a Big 4 audit firm or large internal audit or controls department

* Effective interpersonal and communication skills to influence operational changes, drive collaboration and maximize adoption of new ideas, tools and practices

* Flexibility to adapt to changing business situations

* Experience collaborating and working with cross functional stakeholders across different time zones

* Advanced problem-solving experience and refined analytical skills

* Aptitude for learning new terminology quickly

* Experience working in fast-paced work environments

* Flexibility to handle multiple tasks concurrently with acute attention to detail
