It will operate on aggressive, fixed timelines, with extensive use of partnerships that will support the overall mission. Facebook Reality Labs seeks a data driven & highly motivated leader to head Customer Experience & Global Merchandising for our direct-to-consumer sales channels. We are looking for someone to build a team and redefine how merchandising operates across our global business. This is a leadership position reporting to the Director of FRLs Direct to Consumer business.
Global DTC Merchandising & Customer Experience Lead (FRL) Responsibilities
* Work with DTC Sales and Marketing (Brand, Channel, Product, Performance) to establish merchandising processes and tactics for a seamless customer experience for the Facebook family of Facebook Reality Labs products across our owned DTC channels.
* Deeply understand our customers and their needs in order to inform assortment and merchandising decisions.
* Coordinate with cross functional teams (marketing, creative, platform, engineering, analytics etc.) to lead merchandising & assortment strategy/calendar, as well as execution of product launches, campaigns and promotions.
* Synthesize and analyze relevant content/traffic metrics. Manage campaign performance to continually improve customer experience.
* Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders for asset management, messaging & localization.
* Collaborate with product teams on webstore testing/research, analyzing data and sharing best practice across teams.
* Collaborate with design & CX teams on visual merchandising including design, fixtures, messaging and wayfinding.
* Monitor & improve pre & post-purchase customer experience for direct-to-consumer sales.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Statistics, or related fields
* 10+ years of experience in merchandising roles
* 5+ years of experience in managing channel & digital marketing, promotion management
* 5+ years of people management experience
* Experience analyzing and deriving insights from large data sets
Preferred Qualifications
* MBA or MS Degree or equivalent experience
* Experience in both digital and physical merchandising roles
* Experience in omnichannel commerce
