Job Description

Were looking for an experienced analytics leader to help drive a partner-value centric strategy for Commerce Partnerships. You will be partnering with the Product Marketing and Commerce Partnerships organizations that lead and grow the Commerce/Shops platform. You will be working at the forefront of the industry, driving solutions for one of the largest communities of businesses in the world. You will be focused on results, be proactive, deliver rigorous analyses, and use data to drive change in products and strategies. You will lead a small, distributed team of analysts.

Manager, Partnerships Science Responsibilities

* Apply expertise in quantitative analysis and the presentation of data in developing the authoritative view on the value that our commerce products deliver to our partners (sellers, creators, and platforms).

* Partner directly with Product Marketing and Commerce Partnerships to leverage this analysis to inform, influence, support, and execute product and business strategy decisions.

* Advocate for a partner-value centric approach to inform Facebooks broader commerce strategy while working cross functionally across the Facebook Family of Apps (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger), as well as with Product Management, Data Science, Global Marketing & Sales (GMS), and Partnerships.

* Inspire, lead and grow a globally distributed team of analysts.

* Be proactive with leading discussions on partner value with execs, and ensuring that the right questions are being answered with appropriate level of rigor and that analyses lead to clear and actionable recommendations and impactful product and business changes.

* Develop cross-platform benchmarks, best practices, and expertise in areas that have not yet been defined.

Minimum Qualifications

* Proven experience managing analytics teams, working collaboratively with cross-functional partners, and guiding data-influenced decision making.

* Proven experience influencing strategy and driving change across org boundaries through clear and compelling communication of data-driven insights and analyses.

* Demonstrated experience in hiring, retaining and scaling diverse, geographically dispersed, high-performing teams.

* Experience leading exec-level conversations and navigating internal challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

* Deep industry knowledge of e-Commerce and/or 2-sided marketplaces.

* Experience building analytical models and working with large structured and unstructured data sets to drive business decisions.

* Experience providing leadership and direction to team on data manipulation (e.g., Hive and/or SQL) data visualization (e.g. Tableau), and statistical analysis (R or Python).

* Experience navigating deeply matrixed organizations and creating clarity.
