This team is at the forefront of guiding and designing the employee listening strategies and practices across Facebook. In this role, you will lead a talented team and serve as an active partner with HR and functional leaders to shape and deliver on our overall employee listening strategy. Youll help develop and refine people processes to make an exceptional workplace even better.
Director, Employee Listening Responsibilities
* Strategic leadership:
* Build out and advance a comprehensive listening strategy across instruments and audiences.
* Provide thought leadership on sensing frameworks and strategies.
* Technical Leadership:
* Continually advance our listening practices.
* Apply sophisticated analytical strategies to refine our understanding of our workforce and clear analyses to develop useful insights.
* Refines and aligns question sets and builds integrated sense making.
* Partners with our People Engineering organization on reporting and data delivery.
* Operational Leadership:
* Leads end-to-end management of a suite of listening programs, including data architectures, privacy protection, reporting and insights.
* Owns change management and stakeholder management in support of employee listening programs.
* Partners with communications to build out compelling communications and supporting collateral.
* Effectively partners with HR Business Partners to evolve listening, to develop compelling insights and to deliver scaled solutions.
* People Leadership:
* Effectively leads a team of employee listening professionals.
* Manages work and contributes to professional development of her or his team.
Minimum Qualifications
* M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or similar field or equivalent experience
* 12+ years of experience in an analytics or strategic HR consulting role at a large multinational company
* 5+ years of experience in a survey/employee listening role at a large multinational company or as an external consultant
* 8+ years experience leading through others and managing teams
* Demonstrated team leadership, partnership, influencing and communication experience
* Experience in the following areas including: survey design/construction, survey analysis, weighting, sampling, measurement of employee engagement, large-scale dynamic survey reporting, and applying principles of NLP to large volumes of open-ended comments
* Knowledge of psychometric principles relating to test construction (e.g. item statistics)
* Demonstrated experience navigating a fast paced, dynamic working environment
* Demonstrated track record of dealing with very sensitive data, and exercising proven judgment and discretion
Preferred Qualifications
* Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or similar field
* Experience working in the technology or financial services industry
* 15+ years of experience in a survey/employee engagement role with experience leading a large team
* Experience implementing large scale survey programs in a multinational organization and as an external consultant
