Job Description

Product Support Operations (PSO) plays a critical role in the product lifecycle at Facebook, from ideation, to development, launch, growth, help, and support. The team partners closely with product, engineering, data science and global ops teams to improve the user experience and ensure that every product experience is safe, reliable, and supported at scale.

This role is for a leader to lead our new Quality Process Operations teams within Product Operations. This team will be responsible for ensuring that Product Operations has a scalable, measurable, and consistent quality process foundation (across team-wide processes, programs and tooling needs) to effectively drive production quality, development quality, and product reliability across consumer product areas. This is a leadership role that will work with product surface level leaders across the ProdOps organization and their teams, to ensure they are implementing scaled processes effectively.

We are seeking a resilient self-starter who is eager to learn, collaborative and a proven team leader and influencer. We're targeting an intellectually curious and creative individual who is comfortable operating in ambiguity a strategic thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills. You have a passion for process improvement and operational efficiency, as well as developing others and bring out the best in your teams. You will work directly with our cross-functional team (engineering, product, etc.), as well as all of the teams within Product Operations to enable scale within our quality programs.

Head Of Quality Process Ops Responsibilities

* Develop and scale team-wide quality processes

* identify process gaps

* drive efficiency and consistency in execution

* Drive improvement and growth of key quality programs and tools across internal and cross-functional stakeholders

* Oversee all aspects of the centralized regression management function (PRS team)

* Define and report health metrics for all three quality pillars

* track progress across vertical teams

* Align with vertical team needs to build tooling and program business requirements and roadmaps

* Provide ongoing support to vertical teams as subject matter experts in key programs and tools

* Provide mentorship, guidance and career development to a team of project managers

* Establish team goals and work with direct reports on strategies for executing, measuring progress and sharing results

Minimum Qualifications

* 12+ years of experience working in large-scale operations, domains such as online operations, informational systems, compliance, risk management, policy, legal operations or management consulting

* 5+ years of people management experience

* Demonstrated experience influencing across functional boundaries and/or globally

* Analytical and problem-solving experience

Preferred Qualifications

* MBA or Masters Degree

* Program management and process-improvement expertise

* Experience working in a technology company or consulting firm
