Clorox DTC (direct-to-consumer) is the owned & operated e-commerce arm of Clorox where daily interactions and conversations with customers translate into high growth and continuous learnings. The agile, growing team, well-positioned in the New York, San Francisco, and D.C. areas, is made up of cross-functional professionals who launch and grow DTC wellness brands, while simultaneously mobilizing the online presence of Cloroxs well-loved and established retail brands. Functions, similar to any scaled e-commerce company, are wide and varied across R&D; operations; product/experience; marketing; creative; data science/analytics and technology/engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Our growing Brand & Creative team is in need of a production super-star who possesses an optimal mix of meticulousness, efficiency, and production know-how. This critical role will enable our team to deliver high-quality work quickly and accurately in support of our ambitious brand, marketing, and product goals across several Clorox brands.

Reporting to the Head of Brand & Creative, our future Creative Production Associate will own and execute three key areas of our project workflows: asset and style guide management, content publishing, and design production. Youll stay busy with a range of production responsibilities, from maintaining our image and content management tools and publishing digital content to delivering design assets and assisting with photoshoots. Our ideal teammate has a combo of the technical skills to tackle any production challenge and a willingness to jump in wherever needed to get the job doneall the while staying cool and wearing a smile.

Key Skills, Abilities and Experience Required

Content Publishing & Production

* Manage our internal Content Management tool (CMS), which we use to publish content across our websites, journals, landing pages, and more.

* Upload and publish copy and images in support of our brand, marketing, product, and merchandising initiatives

* Manage the content publishing schedule, aligning with stakeholders on their requests and communicating progress

* Create, maintain, and train team members on content publishing processes

* Uploading email assets to our file hosting site and linking images for email sends

Design Production

* Assist photoshoots by ordering and returning props, managing assets, and distributing them to the right stakeholders

* Support our designers and copywriters by versioning and size ads, testing, promo codes

* Color correction and retouchingcontingent on your background, youll either take on color correction and retouching yourself or manage a relationship with a freelancer

* Prepare, package and deliver high-quality, error-free files to digital and print vendors
QC digital and print files for copy and design accuracy and quality

Asset & Style Guide Management

* Own, maintain, and organize our Digital Asset Manager, including determining and executing categorization, naming conventions, team trainings, and more

* Establish and maintain systems and processes for file management and organization across teams and brands

* Educate and enforce processes and systems across teams

* Maintain, organize, and share style guides across several brands

* Maintain guides for best practices and specifications across channels, staying up-to-date the latest guidelines and communicating updates to creative and marketing teams


Project Management

* Deliver images and copy to be used across our marketing and product initiatives, ensuring specs and naming conventions are adhered to

* Manage production budgets ensuring we adhere to requirements

* Facilitate and manage contracts with freelancers, vendors, and other partners

* Partner with Operations Managers to route projects for stakeholder and legal approvals

Requirements:

* 3+ years working in production or design production on a Creative team

* Proficiency producing work in the Adobe Suite (Bonus points if you also know Figma)

* A bachelors degree in an applicable field

You also have:

* Experience packaging and delivering print and digital assets on a high-output Creative team

* A deep understanding of print and digital production specifications, programs, and workflows

* Experience using and populating a Digital Asset Manager and a Content Management System

* An exceptional eye for detail and commitment to quality

* Ability to balance multiple projects, work quickly, and problem solve in order to hit deadlines

* A willingness and passion for learning new tools and programs

* Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality

* Outstanding communication, collaboration, and time management skills

* A desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment
