Your Opportunity
The Network Optimization and Automation team develops pragmatic, reliable and repeatable process automation and optimization through a combination of network engineering knowledge and coding. We are looking for someone with a passion for building software defined functionality within a programmable infrastructure.

This role is instrumental in improving the organizations automation framework and processes, along with developing code and playbooks. The engineer will partner with multiple infrastructure and operations teams, ensuring successful and efficient deployment solutions and creating corresponding documentation.

What you are good at

* Lead efforts around network engineering automation initiatives; contribute code and engage in code reviews, following best practice methodologies
* Assess current network engineering implementations and recommend automation processes to improve availability, validation and successful deployments
* Improve and promote configuration and lifecycle management processes
* Create software that manages and maintains a multi-vendor, network environment

What you have

* Cisco CCNP/CCIE certification or equivalent knowledge
* 7+ years of network engineering experience, including data center, cloud and large campus infrastructures
* Experience with network configuration management technologies, primarily Ansible Tower, SALT and DCNM/VXLAN and API frameworks
* Experience with DevOps tools, including Bamboo, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git and Linux
* Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Javascript, Ruby)
* Experience working in and with Agile, Scrum and Kanban work processes
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Engineering degree, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience
