Principal Demand Sensing Analyst

About the Role:

The primary focus of the job is to build and implement a demand sensing process to improve the accuracy of our short, mid and long-range forecasts. This includes building a library of demand related information, integrating demand sensing into core planning processes and assisting in projects tasked with developing AI/ML algorithms to improve forecast accuracy.

Your Responsibilities Include:

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build a library of demand information aimed at enhancing the accuracy of our product forecasts.
Capture and analyze business requirements and translate these into standardized business processes, including definitions, templates, data sources, technology roadmap, and roles and

responsibilities.
Drive and support functions, regions and business units to enhance maturity of the demand sensing process. This role will support the compliance and continuous improvement requirements to

ensure the continued adoption and success of the process.
Assist in development of key output and KPI requirements that support the demand sensing process.
Integrate demand sensing process into applicable SI&OP and Execution Management process steps.
Build training content and processes to deliver new user and refresher trainings.
Support MIT/IBM collaboration project to develop AI/ML forecasting algorithms that incorporate demand sensing information
Collaborate with the Rapid Response COE team to build reports and tools to support the demand sensing process.
Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports BSCs Quality Policy, Quality System and appropriate regulations for the areas supported.

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Three to five years of Demand/Supply Chain planning, Business process experience
Strong facilitation / communication skills with the ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization
Broad knowledge and relationships across different parts of the organization: commercial, sales, marketing, product development, finance and manufacturing.
Highly adaptable, flexible and willing to accept new ideas, processes, and procedures
Strong project management and leadership skills
Self-motivated independent worker
Strong analytical problem-solving skills
Detail oriented and organized. Performs to a high level of accuracy in all tasks
The job requires 10% travel to visit BSC manufacturing sites.
