Digital Design and Verification Engineer

The Challenge:

As a digital design engineer, you'll work with a team of engineers and scientists to develop the next generation of engineering technologies and solutions by providing technical management support and strategic assessments of new technologies to support senior DoD decision-makers. You'll also utilize your engineering expertise to produce and present findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients, assist with technical program management and program development, and brief materials out for government research and development efforts.

You Have:

* Experience with digital integrated circuit design and V=verification, simulation, emulation, and UVM
* Experience with functional or security verification analysis techniques, design, and validation, including RTL, VHDL, or SystemVerilog
* Experience with custom integrated circuit layouts for digital, analog, and mixed-signal designs
* Ability to obtain a security clearance
* BS degree in Engineering

Nice If You Have:

* Experience with electronic design animation (EDA) tool suites from vendors that include Cadence, Mentor, or Synopsys, VLSI design, synthesis, place and route physical design, integration, timing, and power optimization
* Experience with writing Universal Verification Methodology (UVM), Open Verification Methodology (OVM), Verification Methodology Manual (VMM), and System Verilog tests and coverage metrics for functional verification
* Experience with the design of electronic architectures using microprocessors and peripherals, including oscillators, SRAM, or Flash
* Experience with performing technical research, documenting results, and presenting findings to customers and stakeholders
* Ability to be self-motivated and entrepreneurial with a client-service mindset, seek out solutions, and deliver value within uncertain and evolving project environments
* Active Secret clearance or higher
* MA or MS degree in EE or Computer Engineering
