Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following. Other duties may be
assigned as necessary.
Lead, manage, and provide guidance to maintenance personnel on all three shifts to support daily operations and other projects.
Perform maintenance duties in areas of, but not limited to, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics,
and electronics. Determine priority of maintenance tasks and assign personnel to perform
associated tasks. Focuses on methods of continuous improvement to optimize the performance
of existing equipment.
Maintain all equipment in safe and efficient operating condition. Plans, schedules, coordinate,
and perform all regular predictive and preventive maintenance needs, and complete projects
within allotted timeframe and budget.
Must make decisions based on production requirements as to whether a machine or fixture can be rebuilt, given major repair or temporary repair, and advise accordingly.
Orders and maintains material, parts, and equipment necessary to support daily production
requirements and keep equipment in good working order.
Conduct regular employee or departmental meetings; provides training and communicates
expectations to maintenance personnel.
Maintain Plant upkeep and repair as needed.
Ensure that all maintenance personnel adhere to all safety rules and practices including lock out / tag out. Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing
standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
Track attendance for Maintenance Department and schedule and distribute overtime within the Maintenance Department. Accomplishes human resources objectives by, training, scheduling, coaching, counseling, disciplining employees and conducting performance evaluations; communicates job expectations; and enforces to policies and procedures.

Work Environment is indoors in a variety of settings including office, manufacturing floor, and
warehouse. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical
parts. The noise level in the work environment is unusually loud out in the plant. Other activities include
sitting for extended periods of time and extensive work at a computer and/or calculator and regular use
of telephone.
Education and/or Experience Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent; Post secondary education a plus with ideal candidate possessing an
engineering degree (preferred). Minimum five years experience supervising maintenance personnel in a
manufacturing environment. Through knowledge and troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical,
pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. PLC, Servo, and CNC experience recommended. Working
knowledge of Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes.
