Are you a Program manager with experience in IoT Application Development?
Cepheid is looking for a self-directed Principal Technical Program Manager (P5) for a new initiative. In this role you will work with multiple functions in the company across our sites in Sunnyvale, Stockholm and Bangalore to devise and create an IoT and Data platform that will integrate with our instrument install base. The successful candidate should have exceptional problem-solving skills, an ability to think about the big picture, exude strong business judgment, and have demonstrated program management experience driving cross-functional teams. The role will report to the VP of Strategic Development.
Responsibilities:
The Program Manager will lead the planning and implementation of multiple New Product Development (NPD) and Policy deployment (PD) programs and develop full scale project plans including projects that will require multiple interventions to reshape the direction and scope based on discovery
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
The Program Manager will define project tasks, timelines, deliverables and resource requirements, create and maintain master project plans and schedules as well as lead Design History File, Meeting Minutes, Risk Management Files, and project documentation
Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
The Program Manager constantly supervise and report on progress of the project to all partners, presents reports defining program progress, problems and solutions to L1 leadership on a monthly frequency and implements as well as leads project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
Program evaluations and assessment of results
The Program Manager runs and leads globally dispersed teams through multiple communication levels and mediums throughout the organization as well as external collaborators, collaborates with the customer in a consultative role when eliciting their business and technical requirements and delivers wholesale solutions for IoT technology, lead strategic partnerships with partner firms - both inside and outside the group
Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree with 12+ years of direct work experience OR Masters degree in field with 8+ years of direct work experience Or Doctoral degree in field with 5+ years of direct work experience
* Direct work experience in a program management capacity with IoT and Data platforms , scrum master roles, including all aspects of product development, plan execution and product launch
* Proven experience in launching multiple products from concept to commercialization stage
* Superior knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of program management
* Working knowledge of quality documentation management systems
* Proven experience in risk management
* Proficient in project management software, Miro, Planview etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP or PgMP certification and/or MBA will be given higher priority
Medical device and/or In Vitro Diagnostic product launch experience is highly preferred
Experience with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS - Cloud Service Modelsis added plus
IoT platform & Application Development management is added plus
