Wells Fargo Small Business Lending (SBL) is the countrys leading small business lender with a full product suite, including line of credits, business cards, term loans, commercial real estate products. SBL applies data-driven strategies in conjunction with strong judgmental underwriting discipline and expertise to small business lending.

The SBL Operations Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced credit professional to be part of the SBL Commercial Credit Workout team and support the Small Business Lending Commercial Real Estate Portfolio. An individual who is, results driven, goal oriented and interested in making an impact will find this opportunity both exciting and challenging. The role requires the management of a large portfolio of non-banker managed Small Business customers, and the ability to balance their needs as well as managing the risk that the business faces in its day to day operations.

Specific Responsibilities include:

* Performing Risk Evaluations
* Formulating and Implementing Workout Strategies
* Analyzing Complex Business and Personal Financial Statements and Tax Returns
* Ensuring Loans are Structured and Prices Consistently with Bank Policy and Commensurate with Risk
* Negotiate Creative Structures to Meet Needs of both Customer and Bank while minimizing Risk Exposure
* Working with In-house and Outside Counsel during litigation
* May Formulate Litigation Strategy

Required Qualifications
* 5+ years of lending experience, workout experience, or a combination of both; or successful completion of the Wells Fargo Credit Management Training Program

Desired Qualifications
* Basic knowledge and understanding of credit policy, accounting practices, and procedures
* Basic knowledge and understanding of lending, loan structuring, and financial analysis
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* 3+ years of credit and portfolio management experience
* Strong relationship management skills
* Commercial lending experience
* Commercial real estate experience
* Knowledge and understanding of commercial lending or workout operations
* Solid conflict management and decision making skills
* Solid negotiation skills
* Bankruptcy experience

Other Desired Qualifications
* Knowledge and understanding of unsecured commercial lending

Salary Information
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
