As part of our OptumDigital team, in this role you will play a significant part in developing and supporting key external facing portals and the digital platforms. The nature of this role is to be the lead developer to advance the consolidation of various portals into a common platform and provide the ongoing support of the platform ensuring high availability to our customers. You will interact with other teams such as business teams, UI experts, infrastructure teams and other application development teams to integrate various interfaces.

If you are located in Minneapolis/Eden Prairie area or Basking Ridge, NJ, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges.

Required Qualifications:

* 7+ years of software engineering experience
* 5+ years of experience within a Java environment
* 5+ years of experience with AEM 6.3+
* 3+ system integration, webServices, etc.
* If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained

Preferred Qualifications:

* 2+ years of DevOps exposure with experience on CI/CD tools like GitHub, Jenkins etc.
* 2+ Web UI experience with CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, AngularJS/ReactJS etc.
* 1+ years of production experience
* 3+ In-depth knowledge of systems development life cycle and / or operational maintenance environment
* Strong organization and effective communication skills
* Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as required
* Experience delivering software using an Agile methodology
* A solid understanding of all AEM building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, widgets, etc., and the AEM development and deployment process
* Experience of the AEM stack - JCR/OAK, OSGi, Sling frameworks etc
* A solid understanding of all AEM building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, widgets, etc., and the AEM development and deployment process
* Should have experience in Touch UI, HTL, Sling Models, Experience Fragments, Content Fragments, Content APIs
