This Product Manager role is responsible for profitable growth of assigned product(s) in the OptumRx Specialty Pharmacy and Infusion portfolio. You will be responsible for the full product lifecycle management, including: strategy, design, development, management and end-of-life of new, existing, or acquisition products as well as delivering complex solutions products that drive value for our customers. This role is part of a product strategy team and works alongside cross-functional partners to work with customers to understand business problems and to refine and prioritize the product roadmap to maximize client value. The Product Manager possesses knowledge of product and product delivery and acts as the primary interface with sales, account management and operations.
You will leverage market insights to understand market / customer needs to identify new opportunities or make enhancements to current product offerings. You will be accountable for delivering product performance against expectations and updates changes to a product portfolio to improve competitive position, and optimal product performance to meet customer and market needs. You will partner with internal or external stakeholders (key customers, product partnerships, etc.) to define and drive future product direction.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Partner with internal or external stakeholders (key customers, product partnerships, etc.) to drive product vision and strategy
* Partner with the product managers and operations teams to manage and align product roadmap & delivery critical path items to drive client and business value
* Create business plans to justify investments and capital spend
* Translate analytical research to support product priorities, value proposition
* Transform the product strategy & roadmap into actionable product enhancements in partnership with Operational and Technical teams
* Researches market within own area of expertise to understand consumer and client needs
* Understands how trends relate to and inform opportunities specific to their product / service area
* Analyzes, investigates and supports sales readiness and go to market strategies
* Define solutions with high-value requirements, a compelling business case, clear product positioning, priority and strategic impact
* Partner with stakeholders to enable successful development and delivery of commercialized solutions
* Understand and influence underlying operating model, capabilities, and technology systems
* Assess product performance ongoing, including market adoption, financial performance, NPS, operational performance, etc. to inform decisions about product features and viability
* Understand the goals and tasks assigned, producing results by fulfilling and sometimes exceeding expectations
* Assimilates quickly to new environments, exhibits flexibility and applies a continuous learning mindset in all aspects of work
* Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* 2+ years of experience in the healthcare industry supporting product, sales, business development or account management
* Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
