As a Quality Assurance Manager Sr within PNC's Technology Infrastructure Services organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH. Remote candidates may also be considered.
The QA Manager Sr will lead quality engineering transformational efforts. This person should have experience transforming testing organizations, and have knowledge of how quality engineering should function within an agile context. This person will implement quality engineering for custom in-house development as well as commercial off-the-shelf testing applications. This manager will provide leadership to a team of quality engineers, but will also be hands-on technically.
Technical skills include Java, Selenium, Karate, and DevOps tools.
Job Description
* Oversees all QA activities and processes for a major or multiple software products or systems.
* Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company, industry, and regulatory standards.
* Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Provides feedback and input for software development standards and practices.
* Leads implementation, control, and distribution of all Quality Assurance programs, practices, standards, methodologies, and metrics. Reviews results of major and final tests to determine if product specifications are met in line with requirements and standards.
* Oversees performance of managers and teams. Identifies and addresses staff training and development needs.

Work Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
