We are the PepsiCo R&D Beverage Technical Process and Capabilities team working across global markets to govern, deliver and measure system and technical processes across our global portfolio of consumer products. Our purpose is to drive efficient harmonized processes & tools to enable R&D to deliver faster, better & stronger capabilities. We lead and drive R&D process & digital system strategy necessary to support changes in R&D capability enabling speed & agility. We facilitate, define, implement, and execute a consistent stage-gate model. Job Purpose:

This highly visible role will possess intellectual curiosity, strong analytical and stakeholder management skills with the ambition to play a key role in the transformation agenda to drive our process & capability digital strategy. It will support the shaping and deployment of strategic capabilities associated with the Global R&D process and programs which are a critical priority for R&D. The selected candidate will be able to demonstrate proficiency in cross-functional new product development & project management (able to design, deliver, and manage multi-dependent workstreams toward a set objective) and analytical capability (understands key concepts needed to translate data into insights). This role will engage with stakeholders across the Sector with exposure to multiple geographies, levels (global, sector, businesses) including senior leadership.

Responsibilities Include:

* Implement Digital Strategy for R&D systems:

* Leads Design and Technical Reviews to ensure R&D digital system needs are satisfied and designs are consistent with the system-level requirements.

* Actively engages with the cross-functional key stakeholders in defining & implementing optimal system integration solutions.

* Technical Data Analytics & Reporting:

* Program and Project level Global Beverage technical stage-gate compliance & reporting to provide visibility and follow-ups against defined metrics.

* Structure, implement & maintain performance dashboards to monitor, track & report progress against key workstreams. Identify opportunities for improvement, risks and potential best practices to be shared across markets.

* Create and publish executive-level dashboards.

* Method/Tool Capability building:

* Drive harmonized processes & systems, change & efficiencies via Governance & metrics across global x-functional project teams

* Deliver R&D focused method/tool training and community best practice sharing and drive adoption of standard processes, tools and templates.

* Creatively using collaboration tools to engage global colleagues across various platforms (O365).

Qualifications/Requirements

* +3 years of related IT data/systems and integration work experience

* +2 years of related data analysis and reporting

* +2 years of R&D new product development lifecycle experience

* Proven track record of successful delivery of medium/high complexity processes in a global environment

* Bachelors degree required

* Results-oriented with the ability to complete assignments in a timely manner

* Digitally savvy and fluent in technology trends and applications.

* Experienced in project management with the ability to adapt to other technologies as needed.

* Strong analytical capability and view problems from multiply points of view and perspectives including root cause analysis.

* Proactively analyze data to increase quality as it relates to accuracy, completeness, consistency, integrity, timeliness, conformity, and validity; Verify the accuracy of data in a functional area and for integration/project activities outlining clear implications and offering ideas for solutions.

* Strong cross-functional influencing and communicating skills in working with key stakeholders at all levels in the organization and across departments, often with conflicting agenda/priorities

* Ability to confront and resolve ambiguity through structured, hypothesis-led problem solving, and working with direct manager.

* Advanced Office capabilities (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint). Knowledge of Tableau, other BI tools, Power Steering and Accolade or similar portfolio management tools a plus.

* R&D knowledge/experience, especially in the product development cycle, processes, practices, systems, people and/or projects a plus
