Who are we looking for

* Looking for the right individual with a thirst for knowledge in wireless technologies who want to mentor and learn with some of the most prestigious technical specialists in the field
* Open to working on minor to major evolutions and sometimes picking up the groundwork related to campus projects
* Searching for a true teammate to a team of up to 10 peers globally who build, run, and support Wireless for Nike Globally.

What will you work on

* As the Wireless Engineer Technology, you will be focused on the Nike Global Network Infrastructure. You'll be responsible for the ongoing operations and maintenance of over 1400 local and remote Nike networks around the globe
* This roll will also focus on new network technologies in response to business-driven requests for increased functionality. 24x7x365 operations - evening, weekend, and holiday work will be required.
* Theres always something new to work on, from deployment of SDWan solutions, Datacenter builds, site and wireless deployments, the workload will vary and always be challenging.
* Work both independently and as part of a team in delivering on time and on budget network projects across the globe
* Provide occasional break/fix services for network problems as they present in the environment

Who will you work with

* You will report to the Global Director of Network Wireless
* You will be a very important teammate to a team of 10 wireless Engineers of varying skills levels passionate about the delivery of a book of network services for Nike.
* This is a very customer service-oriented position and will require a matured acumen

What you bring to nike

* BA/BS degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
* Minimum of 3 years enterprise wireless experience in a network engineering role
* Advanced understanding and experience with Enterprise Network Infrastructure and Topology
* Cisco and/or Aruba Certifications preferred
* WLAN Certification required
* Leadership capability, including ability to motivate and mentor others within work group
* Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical IT teams
* Experience in development in Python a huge plus
