Summary
Role is for a Supervisor overseeing the Right of Way Groups check processing efforts and the renewal of the Companys leases, term easements, and other agreements with a future or ongoing payment requirement along with the updating and storing of the associated files for future reference. These agreements provide the property rights for some of the partnerships strategically positioned assets in some of the major U.S. production basins. The partnership owns and operates a geographically diverse portfolio of complementary natural gas midstream, intrastate and interstate transportation and storage assets; crude oil, natural gas liquids (NGL) and refined product transportation and terminalling assets; NGL fractionation; and various acquisition and marketing assets.
Responsibilities
* Oversee and supervise the Company's ongoing term easement renewals, renewals for pipeline or surface site leases, and right of way check processing efforts
* Assist your team with researching and analyzing the Companys land and property rights for renewal efforts and to provide information to internal and external customers
* Assist with verification of easements, deeds, agreements, leases or licenses requested by outside companies, agencies, or individuals
* Assist in preparation of renewal documents for extension of leases and rentals
* Knowledge and ability to examine land titles and property rights; to plot descriptions, inclusive of metes and bounds; understanding of legal engineering terminology; ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Supervise direct reports and their efforts, and the work product of additional contractors and consultants if needed, to ensure efforts are on time and budget, and that the efforts comply with Company guidelines and contracts;
* Establish, implement, communicate and enforce policies and procedures that enhance efficiencies and meet the overall objective and goals of the department and the Company
* Strong interface with other departments within the company; as well as external customers, landowners, producers, contractors, consultants, government officials, municipalities and agencies;
* Responsible for portions of the right of way budgets participate in department budget activity including preparation of annual leases and rentals budgets per company for inclusion in overall company budget, ongoing monitoring of established budgets, and communication with different departments when potential adjustments are needed;
* Establish and monitor progress on measurable goals for your group in line with the Companys mission and goals;
* Ensure utilization and updating of files in right of way databases and appropriate file documentation and retention;
* Ensure all work, communications and negotiations are conducted with honesty, integrity, and transparency, and in accordance with Company standards
Required Skills/Experience
* Eight years of experience, including five+ years right of way experience preferably with a natural gas or liquids pipeline operator, and preferred 3 years of lead/supervisory or management experience.
* HS Diploma or Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
* Knowledge of real estate principals, rules and regulations pertaining to the acquisition of rights-of-way, licenses, permits and other land rights is favorable
* Ability to read, understand and prepare technical documents such as easements, leases, licenses, etc. is preferred
* Excellent oral and written communications skills both internally and externally
* Possess computer competencies including but not limited to Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, ability to navigate Databases, etc.
* Ability to leverage formulas in Excel to help interpret accounting related information and reports
* Strong Interpersonal skills - high degree of interaction with a variety of groups from field construction personnel, vendors and internal personnel (environmental, engineering, operations).
* Demonstrated ability to plan, schedule prioritize and forecast multiple process and priorities
* Must be team-oriented and self-directed.

Energy Transfer LP provides energy-related services in the United States and China. The company owns and operates approximately 9,400 miles of natural gas transportation pipelines and three natural gas storage facilities in Texas; and approximately 12,200 miles of interstate natural gas pipelines.
