Job Description
This is a great opportunity to work with internal partners and external customers to help provide innovative technology solutions globally! The Senior Manager is in charge of running an open-source project continuous integration facility for premium OTT applications and products. The infrastructure includes handling teams that run source code repositories, continuous integration systems, automated test systems, confluence, Jira, and community code releases. Lead multiple diversely located teams and build new teams where needed. Architect end of end solutions taking into consideration the traffic, load, and user interactions with the system.
Job Functions:
* Handle the day to day operations of multiple diverse Dev-Ops teams providing technical directions and technical feedbacks as needed
* Design and architect robust scalable solutions for continuous integration systems and test automation facilities
* Handle the administration of AWS infrastructure and services including evaluation of cloud options and proposing the right tooling required for the project
* Manage the administration of source code management infrastructure such as Gerrit, Github, Artefactory, etc
* Lead the architecture evolution and platform modernization for existing infrastructure ensuring maximum reliability
* Manage the build and release cycles of the open-source project ensuring that all release acceptance criteria are met
* Ensure code contributions are processed within established SLA timelines
* Guide the teams to resolve build dependencies and unblock community code contributions and code releases
* Ensure that down-times are addressed quickly ensuring speedy recovery and transparent communication to internal partners
* Handle critical issues, security threat notifications, and system downtimes by coordinating with the teams to implement quick workarounds and by maintaining transparent and timely communication with all affected stakeholders
* Review the implementations of system upgrades, feature upgrades, and defect fixes and provide technical guidance to the teams as needed
* Review and maintain the open-source software operating policies and work with legal teams as needed to document new processes
* Ensure all source code contributions are in compliance with open source software licenses and drive the resolution of any violations
* Review new open-source software licenses and provide guidance on its usability in ongoing projects
* Ensure all processes are documented and implemented as designed and made available to the user community
* Conduct periodic audits to ensure that all processes are followed and adhered to
* Maintain and track metrics that will reflect the health of the infrastructure and operating processes
* Generate periodic status reports and provide operations updates to senior management
* Review project scope of works and change requests to ensure that all work elements are collected
* Setup new teams and facilities where needed including planning for recruitment, team building, task allocation planning, etc.
* Work with third-party continuous integration facilities of OTT app providers and establish a working model for bidirectional integration and collaboration.
Required Skills:

Education / Experience Requirements:
* Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
* Typically requires 10+ years of industry experience with Software Development
* Experience with build systems, source code management tools, continuous integration tools, test automation tools. or cloud-based infrastructure
