Position Overview
Meet established departmental and company objectives. Receive, store and distribute raw materials, packaging supplies and finished goods common to the beverage manufacturing process. Adhere to all Coca-Cola policies /procedure.
Essential Functions
* Operate a forklift,
* Loading and unloading trailers,
* Staging and distributing materials,
* Cycle counting raw and finished materials,
* Data entry into the current digital inventory system,
* Maintaining Good Manufacturing Principles (GMP),
* Maintaining a clean work area,
* Work assigned shifts, as determined by business needs, in accordance with
work-week schedules that include a combination of 4, 8, 10, and 12-hour increments.
* Support safety and quality initiatives
Job Requirements:
* High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
* Possess a Valid Forklift Drivers License.
* Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to work in confined spaces and in extreme temperature conditions for long periods of time. Requires manual moving of materials weighing 50 pounds distances of 10 feet or more.
* Skill to use a forklift to move loads weighing 2500 pounds from heights of 304 inches to various locations throughout the facility and onto trailers.
* Requires basic math skills. Basic computer skills.
* Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
* Ability to understand, record, and communicate product codes and descriptions.
* Maintain a good attendance record. Know and follow all company prescribed GMP, safety, attendance and rules of conduct guidelines.
Job Location and Work Conditions:
Work is performed on the shipping and receiving dock and throughout multiple warehouse locations and in a multi-level production facility. Work requires exposure to temperature extremes, high noise levels, wetness, heights, fumes, dust, vibrations, etc.
EQUIPMENT: Forklift, computer, specialized software, scales, hand tools, hand trucks, hoses, cleaning chemicals, and any equipment as may be identified as required for the position.
