We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Global Construction & Infrastructure Division (GCI) team as a CAT Command Sales Representative within the Digital Solutions Marketing team, covering North America with support to other regions on an opportunity-pull basis. In this role you will own and support the sales execution of CAT Command in the region in collaboration with the product group (CD&T), GCI partners, our dealers and customers. This field-based assignment is designed for an experienced individual contributor where assignments are complex, challenging and lend themselves to strategic decisions.

As the CAT Command Sales Representative, you can expect to:

* Develop sales expertise in our growing CAT Command portfolio offering. You will be the key sales lead among dealers and other Caterpillar business units, with expected direct exposure with customers. You should demonstrate a good understanding of the companys processes, systems and methodologies. As part of the launch of a new product line, you will be expected to generate and create new processes to sustain future sales growth. Direct work with other Caterpillar people, dealers and customers requires incumbent to demonstrate skills in public speaking, negotiation, building consensus and achieving compromise.
* Generate and manage a pipeline of sales opportunities working with business partners and dealers, understand how to meet customer needs, coordinate site studies (networks, infrastructure, etc.) and achieve successful closure. You will need to create and manage a longer term forecast for your region to help drive future NPI.
* Coordinate CAT Command commissioning with dealers and CAT team to ensure a top customer delivery experience and help expand future dealer capabilities.
* Remain current on customer/dealer market and needs to support and develop product sales, dealer effectiveness, NPI process, etc.
* Direct your development and continual learning through experience and staying abreast of technology changes. You must stay abreast of industry and technology changes and relate those changes to Caterpillar, dealer and customer needs.

Basic Requirements:

* A bachelors degree, preferably in Engineering, Business or Marketing, from an accredited college or university OR Equivalent sales experience (4+ years), relevant to the role, can be considered in lieu of a degree.
* At least 5 years prior experience with dealer and customer engagement
* Knowledge of CI product line OR CAT sales execution model
* The ability and willingness to travel around 50% of the time.

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

* Additional experience in a similar role with sales objectives, interaction with dealers and customers, ideally involving technology products.
* Knowledge of Caterpillar products, policies, and procedures
* Strong leadership capabilities, organizational and analytical skills and be highly proficient working team dynamics and interpersonal relationships to successfully influence others to achieve challenging goals across the global Caterpillar enterprise.
* Ability to influence and lead others in the work group, dealer personnel and customers.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead on larger scale, more complex assignments.

Additional Information:

* Relocation assistance is available for this position.
* Relocation for this role will be tied to being within sales territory, tied to a Cat facility or district office within 50 miles of an international airport.
