* Individual contributor role responsible for subject matter expertise and delivery in Quality systems, including LIMS (SampleManager, Labware), MODA, PLA, etc..
* Knowledgeable in laboratory operations.
* Ability to work with clients to assess highlighted system issues and resolve.
* Ensure systems are compliant to all Computer System Validation requirements and regulations.
* Needs to be able to work across organizations (employee, vendor, contracted partners) to work at arriving the best solutions for BMS.
* Supports laboratory computer systems remotely on a worldwide basis.
* Troubleshoots and resolves issues in supported systems.
* Provides training to users where necessary.
* Contributes to application releases, upgrades, or integration projects.
* Manages projects that improve or enhance Quality Systems specific capabilities.
* Contributes to the strategy, direction and implementation of global laboratory systems.
* Coordinates and manages cross-divisional IM resources, platform engineering and software engineering roles.
* Serves as key resource for system implementation and data migration projects.
* Experience in a laboratory environment; ability to relate to issues faced by laboratory personnel.
* Complies with all Computer System Validation requirements and regulations.

Qualifications

* Bachelors degree in Science or Computer Science.
* 5+ years overall work experience in Information Technology environment for delivery and support of manufacturing and business applications in a regulated environment.
* 3-5 years of experience as a user for PLA, SAS, MODA, LIMS or Softmax applications in a lab will also be considered.
* Experience in Computer System Validation, Systems Support and troubleshooting.
* Experience of working in a regulated pharmaceutical environment (preferred) and managing projects successfully to meet project milestones/budgets an advantage.
* Strong communication and relationship building skills to establish trust and rapport with the business teams.
* Ability to clearly articulate the Quality Systems data capabilities roadmap, status of requests and issues both with IT Business Partner Organizations and core functional teams
* Track record of innovation, results, and ability to collaborate and affect change across functions.
* Experience working with Laboratory operations and systems
* Proven experience in leading projects
* Good influence and facilitation skills
* Strong project management skills
* Proficiency at demonstrating the Core BMS Behaviors
* Ability to balance many simultaneous competing tasks based on priority set by management
* Ability to communicate clearly and directly with users, management and contracted service providers
