Mobile Senior Product Specialist SAP Mobile Experience & Engineering Unit, US

Mobile apps are very often a first entry point of our customers to experience the Intelligence Enterprise and to access their data and business processes. Our mission is to bring the mobile portfolio together in ways that offer customers innovative mobile user experience across their business processes while leveraging latest native technologies and delivering on best of breed capabilities in each market segment.

The Mobile Experience and Engineering unit will be the central place for SAPs mobile app development and everything around mobile technology. In our responsibility lies the holistic, persona-centric mobile portfolio definition, the overall mobile app development, including app lifecycle management plus the necessary governance to ensure customer success.

We are looking for a highly motivated mobile product manager to join our team to deliver compelling mobile applications in close collaboration with customers, partners and end-users.

THE ROLE

This challenging opportunity is perfect for product managers with excellent mobile business skills, an open mind and willingness to join a start-up like team. You take ownership of key tasks in portfolio and product strategy, market insights, thought leadership, competitive insights and customer information.

In this role, you will analyze and understand the market regarding latest mobile / intelligent technologies and devices, trends, UX, Future of Work, AI and AR/CX and contribute to the definition and creation of the mobile business plan per key industry.

You will work closely with Lines of Business / industry product and solution management, partners and customers to holistically understand business and user requirements.

You will also take an active role in supporting sales and pre-sales activities, as well as drive rollout and enablement tasks for customers and partners.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED EXPERIENCES

We are looking for a senior product specialist with strong expertise in the enterprise mobility business (e.g., product management, product strategy, mobile customer projects).

* A proven track record as (mobile) product manager with several years of experience
* Strong skills in emerging technologies like AI, machine learning and contextual awareness
* Strong focus on user experience, quality and performance
* Experience in agile work environments and Scrum driven projects
* Strong business process know-how and expertise in enterprise software
* Fluent English language skills, fluent German is a plus

WORK EXPERIENCE

* At least 4 years in enterprise mobility business, e.g. product management, mobile customer projects, Go-to-Market
* Proven track record in successful enterprise mobility projects and/or intelligent technologies
* Strong business process know-how and expertise in enterprise software, esp. SAP
