Job Description
Overall Purpose: Responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of the company's environmental safety programs and policies for the purpose of providing employees with a safe and healthful workplace, safeguarding the community, and protecting the environment.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Designs data modeling processes, creates algorithms, and predictive models to extract the data the business needs, and helps analyze the data and share insights with peers. Manipulates large data sets and uses them to identify trends and reach meaningful conclusions to inform strategic business decisions. Cleans, aggregates, and organizes data from disparate sources and transfers it to data warehouses. Designs, creates, and manages the organizations data architecture. Monitors programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local governmental regulations. Conducts training in emergency response, hazardous material handling, industrial hygiene, life safety and ergonomic compliance-related activities. Recommends corrective action where environmental health and safety hazards exist. Develops recommendations to prevent or correct hazardous situations. Relies on past work experiences to apply professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may provide guidance to other personnel. Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Education: Preferred Masters degree related to Data Science/Analytics or Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Statistics.
Experience: 5-7 years of experience with R, Python, Hadoop, SQL, Apache Spark, Machine Learning, PowerBI, Palantir

Environmental Requirements: This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T's compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.
