ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role involves leading, training and mentoring the NAND silicon planning team in the following areas:
* Ownership of WDs global captive NAND planning activities including Die Mix and Short/Long Term Supply Buckets.
* Maintenance of WDs supply chain optimization engines databases to ensure accurate supply chain planning
* Detailed analyses, computation and interpretation of plan output.
* Respond to shifting priorities and business needs by identifying, developing and promoting new technologies, methods and processes.
* Coordination with stakeholders from demand planning, allocation, product planning, fab ops and PTP to ensure alignment of demand and NAND supply, and efficient consumption of our NAND supply
* Communication of plan output, operational shipment commits to relevant stakeholders and senior management
* Engage and execute process improvement initiates to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the team and scale the team to meet the growing needs of the company.
REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
* 5+ years experience.
