The iPhone Engineering group is a growing, high energy, results oriented team. An Enclosure EPS (Engineering Project Specialist) must be able to prioritize issues and track the details, be a fearless organizer, ready to work with the Product Design and Engineering Project Management teams to manage the risks associated with early manufacturing builds.
Key Qualifications

* Must have good BOM structuring experience, preferably for hardware products
* Understand configuration management and BOM structuring
* Experience with PLM tools (Agile experience is preferred but not required)
* Proficient in MS Excel
* Combination of organizational and detail-oriented skills when working on multiple projects
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
* Ability to react to resets and changes in a time-sensitive environment
* Excellent communication (written and verbal)
* Ability to influence, effectively communicate and drive deadlines with vendors (either CM or part vendors)
* Experience working with overseas vendors
* Off-hour support required via email and phone
* Overseas travel required

Create, manage and process Engineering Change Orders, Manufacturer Change Orders and Deviations Create/Structure BOMs (Bill of Materials), part numbers and archive related technical documentation Create Purchase Requisitions, maintain invoice tracking and Goods Receipts Create/Manage/Maintain Material Orders for development builds Manage/maintain logistics of parts for builds Manage supply chain for long lead items Maintain schedules for the delivery of vendor components Manage/Maintain logistics of units/parts for local development builds Work on multiple spreadsheets simultaneously Help facilitate Customs Clearance (as needed)
