Summary:

Part of the National Training Program that is transforming how training is delivered to reach a new generation of those joining Northwestern Mutual. This role acts as the lead resource supporting the teams that drive the learning experience for new financial representatives. This role will be responsible for supporting the expansion and scalability of the operational model by building standardized processes to deliver and execute National Training.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

* Manage, build and evolve the operational model for the National Training Program.
* Formulate strategic and operational decisions to scale and expand National Training Program.
* Build out, and ongoing management, of operational support roles.
* Support refinement and deployment of project management structure and tools.
* Lead assigned projects focused on the improvement of operational support.
* Independently leads process improvement initiatives related to operational support for National Training Program.
* Analyze process workflow and implement necessary changes.
* Demonstrate interest and aptitude to develop team members and their strategic thinking ability.

Knowledge, skills, & abilities:

* Requires a bachelors degree in business, education or a related field, or an equivalent combination of professional related work experience.
* Minimum of 7-10 year of program/project management or equivalent experience.
* Demonstrated high level of organization and follow through with the ability to effectively identify and independently establish priorities and meet deadlines on multiple assignments with high quality results.
* Builds rapport and trust with others, give / receive feedback in open and constructive ways to create a high-functioning team.
* High degree of organization and planning skills.
* Strategic thinker who is able to balance current challenges and future possibilities and create strategic focus in an actionable manner.
* Ability to lead, direct, negotiate and influence without direct authority at all levels of the organization
* Must be able to handle ambiguity, adapt to changing business needs and anticipate and plan for consequences that could have an impact on any aspect of the program.
* Expertise with Microsoft Suite of tools, SharePoint and Virtual delivery tools such as Ring Central, Zoom, etc.

This job is not covered by the existing Collective Bargaining Agreement.
