Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector, Digital Engineering Group, isseeking a Digital Design Engineer to work on FPGA and ASIC Design acrossthe full product life cycle process. In this capacity, you will utilize yourworking knowledge of digital signal processing and digital interfaces.
As a Digital Design Engineer, you will bedeveloping systems for a variety of spacecraft and other technologies yet tocome We are seeking team memberswho have a thirst for knowledge, approach each day with optimism, andhave a relentless drive to solvecomplex problems. Creativity and innovation are imperative for this role, because at NorthropGrumman, many of the problems we work on are impossible until theyre not.
As a developer on this team, the selected candidate willperform the technical design, development, and integration amp; test ofdigital subsystems, ASICs, FPGAs, single board computers, and other digitalboard products. The candidate will workas part of a multi-disciplined team to architect the technical solution forcomplicated space payloads. Thecandidate will also have the opportunity to interface with internal andexternal customers and suppliers in this position. This candidate must havegood communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and good oral andwritten presentation skills. Thiscandidate must have a desire to learn and take on significant challenges.

Qualification
Basic Qualifications for Sr. Principal FPGA Engineer:
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or comparable STEMdiscipline
- 9+ years of relevantexperience (7+ years with an MS, 4+ years a PhD)
- Working knowledge offull product life cycle (requirements, design, implementation and test) of FPGADesign and/or ASIC Design
- Experience with VHDLor Verilog
- Secret SecurityClearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or comparableengineering discipline
- Top Secret Clearance orhigher.
