Title: QA Engineer
Location: Redwood City
The NCR Digital Banking team is looking for a QA Software Engineer for the development of NCRs Business Banking Services, a fast-growing product within NCRs Business Banking offerings that provides users and businesses a great deal of control over their business transactions and related events. The role of a QA Engineer on this team is a critical role that offers the right candidate a unique opportunity to own and deliver the roadmap of a world class SaaS offering in the financial domain.
Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility
* Quality Assurance of new and existing features in our Business Banking applications.
* Create and maintain API and UI automation test scripts using frameworks such as Postman, selenium, protractor
* Familiarity with CI / CD concepts and automated build tools such as Jenkins
* Active participation in design reviews of new features and partnering closely with rest of team (Developers, Architects, Product Managers, SCM, Operations, and Business Partners)
* Stay up to date with new technologies and industry trends
* Participate in requirements gathering and documentation
* Set and follow core engineering processes to ensure software code quality
* Live and breathe the agile mindset and work in a fast-paced scrum environment
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelors Degree in a Technical Discipline or equivalent work experience
* 5+ years of experience testing responsive web applications with automated testing frameworks
* Solid understanding of the software development process and life cycle
* Aptitude for learning new technologies
* Ability to dive in and understand complex systems.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent time management and communication skills and a great team player with a can-do attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with API and UI automated testing tools such as Postman, Selenium and Protractor
* Experience with Continuous Integration / Deployment process
