The Latin America Integrated Facilities Management operation provides service delivery and solutions, serving our Company facilities by managing the execution and delivery of key maintenance functions, utility assurance and facility management; by identifying and executing efficient and effective solutions which meet the requirements of the Company.

Reports to Executive Director, Process, Operations & Strategy. Managerial responsibilities for Facilities Management Operations Staff and Third-Party Service providers; including: Associate Directors, Sr. specialists, Specialists, Administrative, and oversight of service partner relationships.

The Director Latin America Integrated Facilities Management is a key role within the Global Workplace and Enterprise Services, working within the Center of Excellence to ensure reliable utility, services and facilities for our clients to improve our Companys competitive advantage and deliver strategic initiatives.

Major Responsibilities:

* Manage current facilities both office and laboratory, located in Latin America and Puerto Rico, providing sufficient work facilities with reliable utility supply and services while maintaining an expense budget that captures, all OPEX including and not limited to: rents, personnel, utility, tax, maintenance, service, and depreciation costs.

* Manage Capital expenses as allocated to region through Global Workplace and Enterprise Services budget. Serve as Capital Project Team Lead for relevant projects within the region.

* Manage outsourced service providers under Governance/Partner management platforms to deliver services at specified service levels under specified budgets/savings targets. Service providers include soft services (Mail, Dining, Grounds, Cleaning, Landscaping, Security), hard services (Repair and Maintenance, Waste Management, Project Engineering) and utility services (Electric, Steam).

* In partnership with GRES, develop and maintain a site/regional master plan and execute site infrastructure, facility and utility improvement projects by partnering with Engineering to proactively address current limitations and potential failures to maximize space usage, reliability and uptime. Work with Real Estate Occupancy Planning to identify opportunities as part of the Real Estate Strategy process.

* Partner with colleagues in GRES to implement the Company Standards & Workplace Strategies in new and existing facilities. Partner with IT, Human Resources, Environmental Health and Safety, and other divisions & functions (as appropriate) to develop workplace strategies that enable retaining and engaging talent.

* Ensure compliance (Safety, Health, Environmental, GxP (as applicable), Department of Transportation, Labor, Human Resources, etc.) for all applicable company protocols, practices, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Ensure that all site related decisions and documents appropriately protect Company interests/assets.

* As a manager in Global Workplace Enterprise Services you will support the development of people as a core responsibility in order to build the best team for the execution of the organizations goals.

* Collaborate and building relationships with professionals in our Company and Partner organizations and site operations.

* Develop and Maintain core documents such as internal Practices, Procedures, Guides and Standards.

* Develop objectives, metrics, and best practices that deliver favorable performance

* Ensure all training and certification requirements are met

Education Minimum:

* B.A./B.S. in a related field

Prerequisites:

* A minimum of 5 years in Maintenance/Engineering/Facilities

* Fluency in English and Spanish

* An understanding of maintenance processes, systems and compliance

* Exhibit sound leadership qualities amongst competing priorities and agendas while leading, developing and motivating a cross functional team of internal employees and external service providers.
